Instead of posting a legitimate post (which I haven't done in months), I'm going to link to a comment I left on Lou's blog and have it do double duty. Please read what Lou wrote first because he actually updates with real content. And it never, never includes chuck norris. Ever.

That was a great conversation Amy. From the land of born-again hyper Christians (a.k.a. medical school in Orange County), I would say that this urge to see life as a chance to learn, improve yourself, and do good against evil is one of the more refreshing religious motives I've run into. I've even talked to Christians who don't support banning abortion because they believe it's up to the good of the woman to choose the right path, and not the government. However, others will see their 'legalizing' crusade as their own personal mission to fulfill God's will, and forget that through law they are preventing others from carrying out God's will individually.
