hoth [amy]

I've been meaning to put up pictures from my snow camping trip, here they are finally. One of my coworkers grew up in Minnesota, and they used to do this kind of thing when they were kids. (dig holes and sleep in them) I went with some folks from work Memorial Day weekend to give it a try.

Digging and sleeping in a snowcave was cool. But snowcaves are probably just really miserable without the Laundoland down the hill to dry your boots in. Also, we got dinner at Subway. However, our morning was donut-less, due to raccoons. (Roughing it, yo)

Some background information:

Room:

We had to destroy it before we left so snowmobiles wouldn't fall into the pit and die. It was actually harder to do than I thought. But it's easier to see how it was laid out without the roof on:

I liked the clouds we saw too:

(The tribble at the bottom of the screen is probably Paco's head.)
