Happy New Year [amy]
Hey.
I'm a lot less busy now, all my applications got out last Wednesday. So now the stress of applying to schools has been replaced with the trepidation of change. I've never really left the bay area before (to live), and now there's a chance that I will be moving across the country for at least two, probably three years. And in that place there is a Strom Thurmond Memorial Library. (The architecture school appears to be more or less sane, we will see.) I've been wanting to go back to school for awhile now. I feel like I'll have a hard time getting farther in work beyond being a building-techie without getting a little bit more education, though at the same time there is a chance that this departure from the practicalities of real world practice is just going to make me angry. We will see. I also just want to try living outside of California for awhile. Even though I haven't lived with my folks for almost eight years now, I am close enough that it seems like I've never left home in some ways. I've flirted with living abroad, but maybe moving to South Carolina might be good enough.
I just figured I needed to fill in some space here, just to keep the brog from the brink of extinction.
Happy New Year Everyone. Hope things are well with you.
